02 / THE PERSON BEHIND TRANSCEND
Meet Paul.
My career began in the City, but my ambition was always to work in sport. After studying economics, I spent nearly a decade in financial services while completing a master’s in Sports Management and Business of Football and building my career in athlete representation.
I co-founded an agency before joining Roc Nation Sports in 2019. For just shy of a decade, I worked on major playing contracts and commercial deals for elite athletes. That experience taught me that the best representation is built on trust, preparation and honest advice long before a deal is signed.
I founded Transcend Talent Group to bring that experience to a more personal way of working. I want the athletes and families I represent to know who they can call, to understand the decisions in front of them, and to feel that someone is thinking about their future as carefully as they are.
I’m a FIFA licensed football agent and an RFU registered rugby agent. Whether I’m supporting a young player at the start of their journey or an established athlete making a defining decision, my approach is the same: listen closely, speak honestly and work hard for the person behind the player.
